Nero 10 offre tutto l'occorrente per masterizzare CD, DVD e Blu-ray, ed in più offre un'imponente numero di utility multimediali. Questa nuova versione non offre significative novità ma migliora l'usabilità e la funzionalità di diversi moduli, tra cui l'eccellente Nero Burning ROM

Inizialmente Nero era solo un software per masterizzare CD, ma col tempo si è evoluto trasformandosi in un'autentica suite multimediale. Oggi, Nero Multimedia Suite è uno dei pacchetti più completi del mercato. Il programma è suddiviso in moduli. Nero StartSmart è quello iniziale e non è altro che una comoda porta di accesso a tutte le funzionalità del pacchetto.

Nero 10 supporta la masterizzazione di audio, video e dati su CD, DVD o Blu-ray Disc. È il modulo Nero Burning ROM ad incaricarsi di questa fase. Ogni operazione è intuitiva e avviene in modo rapido e con la massima affidabilità.

Nero Multimedia Suite soddisfa ogni esigenza di editing di video (supporta anche la creazione di filmati HD), audio, e foto, con utility molto all'avanguardia e che permettono, dopo i ritocchi, di masterizzare velocemente i tuoi progetti. Nero 10 è anche un vero lettore multi-formato: potrai riprodurre foto, audio, video, presentazioni, radio e TV, sempre che tu abbia una scheda che supporti queste ultime due possibilità.

La suite include Nero BackItUp & Burn, che consente il backup di file o dell'intera partizione del disco. Nero 10 permette inoltre di caricare contenuti come foto e video su community come YouTube, MySpace e My Nero, e l'opportunità di convertire archivi e trasferirli facilmente sul tuo dispositivo portatile.

Nero 10 però mantiene i problemi di sempre: si integra molto col sistema e il consumo di risorse non è certo esiguo. Un processore discretamente potente e molta RAM, comunque, dovrebbero garantire un utilizzo abbastanza fluido.
